Proposed Regulations
The Department of Natural Resources, Land Acquisition and Planning Unit is
proposing the following regulations to establish authority for DNR Land
Acquisition and Planning to perform appraisal review functions, and to recommend
a value or range of values for potential acquisition of real property. The
proposed regulations also authorize the Department to offer to purchase real
property at a value or range of values based on the review appraiser’s
recommendation. Finally, the proposed regulations recognize that the Board of
Public Works has final approval in consideration paid for real property. This
action is pursuant to NR1-109, and is as a result of the consolidation of land
acquisition functions from Chapter 410 of 2011.

The public comment period for these regulations will run through the close of
business on Monday February 25, 2013.
