Maryland Trails Program

Equestrian Trails

The Department of Natural Resources is working with the Horse Council, TROT, and Ross Peddicord at MDA, on gathering the GIS map data for all of the state horse trails so it can then be posted on the Trail Atlas. The department is also working with TROT to create Maryland's Public Equestrian Trails Brochure. Department of Natural Resources and Trot are exploring additional possible locations for equestrian camping around the state.
