The Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park is a place for orientation, learning, meditation and reflection. Visitors will explore the Choptank River region as Tubman's first home, the Underground Railroad as a resistance movement and Tubman as a nineteenth century hero.
From the Visitor Center, there are other opportunities to explore the site further, taking various pathways in the legacy garden and around bio-rentention ponds. This area also features an open-air picnic pavilion with stone fireplace.
