Harriet Tubman Pavilion

The Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park will be a place for orientation, meditation and reflection. Visitors will be able to interpret exhibits that explore the Choptank River region as Tubman's first home, the Underground Railroad as a resistance movement and Tubman as a nineteenth century hero.

From the Visitor Center, there are other opportunities to explore the site further, taking various pathways or walking across lawn areas. This area will include a passive recreation zone to be used by visitors that will feature native plantings and a picnic pavilion for group use.
