Schaeffer Farm Hunting Area

  • The Schaeffer Farm hunting area is being managed from the Gwynnbrook Wildlife office. For permits, maps and further information please call 410-356-9272.

  • Location

    The Schaeffer Farm Tract is located in Seneca Creek State Park, and is bordered by Schaeffer and Black Rock Roads and Little Seneca & Seneca Creek.

  • Hunting Type

    Shotgun and Muzzleloader.

  • Permit

    A DNR Managed Hunt Permit is required for this area and can be obtained online or through license vendors. Information concerning the permit is in the hunting guide as well as online. A Gwynnbrook Seasonal Permit is also needed and can be obtained contacting the Gwynnbrook Wildlife office.

  • Seasons

    Only open during the firearms season from November 24–December 8, 2012 and January 4–5, 2013.
