Wilsons, Rock Ridge, and Hills Grove Picnic Areas - November 1, 2012 Febuary 28, 2013 areas will be closed to vehicle traffic on the weekdays and open to vehicle traffic on weekends only. Restroom facilities at these locations will be closed and will re-open in the spring. Port a pot stations will be located at the park office, Wilsons, and Hills Grove Picnic Areas.
Access to the King & Queen Seat overlook can be located at the Purple Trail Spur or the White Trail from the Park Office.
Location
The park is located in northern Harford County about 30 miles north of Baltimore and 8 miles northwest of Bel Air on Route 24. From Baltimore, take I-95 north to Route 24 north exit. Continue north on Route 24 through Bel Air, Rock Spring, and Forest Hill. The Park is located approximately 5 miles north of Forest Hill.

Certain activities are permitted outside of the regular park hours (e.g. fishing, boat launch, hunting where permitted). Please check with the park before your visit if you plan to engage in an activity which requires you to be in the park before or after the posted hours.
