| Natural Features | Days Cove sites are located at the confluence of the Little and Big Gunpowder Falls, Maryland's only true river delta, with sinuous creeks and backwaters. A variety of wetland vegetation provide optimum waterfowl habitat. Hart-Miller Island is located in open water of the Chesapeake Bay. Nearby dredge ponds support vast numbers of waterfowl. |

| Description | Shotgun hunting for waterfowl by permit on the Gunpowder River and Hart-Miller Island in the Chesapeake Bay. Abundant wetland vegetation provides excellent waterfowl habitat for Canada Geese, Mallards, Wood Ducks, Mergansers and Teal and some less common species such as Shovelers. |
