Volunteer Opportunities
Interested in supporting the Tawes Garden? Donate your time by becoming a volunteer - help garden staff with planting, special events, educational programs and service projects.
Friends of Tawes Garden
Engage in fundraising activities that benefit the garden - including the spring plant sale, bus trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show and holiday sales.
Tours/Programming
Assist with tours and programs for children and adults, primarily during the spring and fall.
Gardener
Work on a wide variety of tasks such as planting, watering, and pruning - independently or with the garden staff.
Gift Shop
Help generate revenue for the garden's day-to-day operations by selling merchandise - on-the-job training and free parking are included.
Community Service and Eagle Scout Projects
Complete required hours by working on garden maintenance, or work with the garden staff to identify and develop a project from conception to completion.
Volunteers are treated to an annual luncheon in appreciation for their service throughout the year.
