Directions from Washington D.C. Metro Area:

  • From the Capitol Beltway Rt. 95/495 take the Pennsylvania Ave (Rt. 4) South exit off of the Beltway.
  • Continue south on Rt. 4 into Calvert County and follow to Prince Frederick, approximately 31 miles.
  • Turn right onto west Rt. 231 (Hallowing Point Road).
  • Follow Rt. 231 approximately 5 ½ miles to the Patuxent River Bridge at Benedict.
  • The service center is on the left side of the road before crossing the bridge.

    • Directions from St. Mary’s County:

    Coming from the southern end of St. Mary’s County:

  • Follow Rt. 4 north, crossing the Thomas Johnson Bridge over the Patuxent River at Solomons and travel approximately 23 miles,
  • Turn west on Rt. 231 (Hallowing Point Road).
  • Follow Rt. 231 approximately 5 ½ miles to the Patuxent River Bridge at Benedict.
  • The service center is on the left side of the road before crossing the bridge.

    • Coming from northern St. Mary’s County:

  • Follow Rt. 5 north to Hughesville.
  • Turn right at traffic light in Hughesville onto east Rt. 231 (Prince Frederick Rd.) .
  • Follow Rt. 231 approximately 7 miles to the Patuxent River Bridge at Benedict.
  • Cross over the bridge into Calvert County and make the first right hand turn to building immediately on your right.

    • Directions from Charles County, Waldorf Area:

  • Take Rt. 5 south to Hughesville.
  • Turn left at the traffic light in Hughesville onto east Rt. 231 (Prince Frederick Rd.).
  • Follow Rt. 231 approximately 7 miles to Patuxent River Bridge at Benedict.
  • Cross over bridge into Calvert County and make the first right hand turn to building immediately on your right.

    • Directions from Anne Arundel County:

  • Follow Rt. 2 Solomons Island Road south to Rt.4 Pennsylvania Ave south.
  • Follow Rt. 4 south to Prince Frederick, approximately 12 miles.
  • Turn right on Rt. 231 west (Hallowing Point Road) and follow approximately 5 ½ miles to the Patuxent River Bridge at Benedict.
  • The service center is on the left side of the road before crossing the bridge.

    • Directions from southern Prince George County:

  • Follow Rt. 301 South to south Rt. 381 (Aquasco/Brandywine Road).
  • Follow Rt. 381 to left hand turn at stop sign onto east Rt. 231 (Prince Frederick Road) .
  • Follow Rt. 231 approximately 5 miles to the Patuxent River Bridge at Benedict.
  • Cross over the bridge into Calvert County and make the first right hand turn to building immediately on your right.
