Future Harvest
A Chesapeake Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture (Future Harvest-CASA) is a
network of farmers, agricultural professionals, landowners and consumers living
and working in the Chesapeake region, which includes Delaware, Maryland,
Virginia, West Virginia and Washington DC. Future Harvest-CASA promotes
profitable, environmentally sound and socially acceptable food and farming

Maryland Environmental Trust (MET)
Serves as a statewide land trust and holds over 1000 conservation easements
protecting over 125,000 acres of forest, farmland and scenic open space across
Maryland. MET was established in 1967 by the Maryland General Assembly and
provides landowners and partner organizations with information and tools to
permanently protect natural, historic and scenic resources in the state.

Maryland Green Fuels
Maryland Green Fuels, LLC (MGF) is proud to offer Maryland’s public and private
entities, as well as state agencies with the rapid deployment of our unique
feedstock-to-fuels conversion technology. Our proprietary, small footprint,
closed loop system easily transforms carbon-based biomass feedstocks into
valuable renewable ASTM quality hydrocarbon liquid fuels (not bio-diesel) and
methane synthetic gas for direct electrical power generation with no harmful
emissions.

On-Site Pollution Prevention Technical Assistance
Take advantage of a free, confidential assessment of your facility by engineers
at the University of Maryland Manufacturing Assistance Program. You’ll receive a

Sustainable Maryland Certified
A new initiative of the Environmental Finance Center at the University of
Maryland (EFC) designed to support Maryland’s 157 municipalities as they look
for cost effective and strategic ways to protect their natural assets and
revitalize their communities. This free and voluntary program, which has the
full support of the Maryland Municipal League (MML), will help communities
choose a direction for their greening efforts; complete their chosen actions
with help from program tools, trainings, case studies, and other resources; and
be recognized for their accomplishments.
