Ecosystem Health Assessment of the Maryland Coastal Bays 2007-2013

The Ecosystem Health Assessment report is a technical, science reviewed document among many partners with the department as the lead. The report attempts to capture the major elements of the bays health that reflect the current perceptions of scientists and managers as to what constitutes the State of the Bays Health.

The technical report includes assessments based on the Eutrophication Monitoring Plan on stream health, water quality, bay habitats and living resources (current conditions and long term trends).

The State of the Bays is a public friendly synopsis of the Ecosystem Health Assessment report.
