The Beyond BOW 2012 Deer Clinic & Hunt was held at Blossom Point in Charles County, Maryland on October 19-20, 2012. Co-sponsored by Blossom Point Military Base, the MD Department of Natural Resources and Maryland's "Becoming an Outdoors Woman" program, the workshop was designed for new to beginner hunters.

On Friday participants learned the how’s and why’s of deer hunting, including safety, hunting skills, white-tailed deer biology and population management, tracking, and tree stand safety with lots of time spent at the shooting range honing new skills.

Saturday began before sun-up, with women and men stationed in their tree stand for a day of hunting. By the end of the day, we had harvested and field dressed a deer and everyone had a great story to tell.

If you enjoyed watching our photo albums, plan on joining us for the 2013 Beyond BOW Deer Clinic. In the meantime, Beyond BOW offers one and two day activities throughout the year. Find out just how much fun it can be to an Outdoors Woman!
