Delmarva Bays are unique little wetlands found throughout the Eastern Shore of
the Chesapeake. With variable wet and dry conditions throughout the year, they
support unique plant and animal species specially adapted to this variation in
moisture, including the grass-pink, striped gentian, and the barking treefrog.
The Landowner Incentive Program is funding control of invasive
and woody plants in Delmarva bay wetlands in Caroline, Dorchester, and Queen
Anne's Counties. |
